Selling on Amazon FBA is easy, but knowing how to sell on Amazon as a company and doing it well is not so much. There are many companies that see Amazon as a more than feasible solution to their ambitions and sales goals for 2020, but you have to do it right. If your company is one of these, do not hesitate, keep reading.

How much does it cost to sell on Amazon as a company
First of all, you should know that selling on Amazon as a company is not free, so before embarking on the adventure take a look at the fixed costs that you are going to find:

Seller account:
If you sell on Amazon as a business, your choice should be a pro seller account. While it is true that there are other modalities such as individual seller, the advantages offered by this type of account are worth the € 39 + VAT that it will cost you.

The pro seller account costs € 39 + VAT and allows you to sell throughout Europe.

Logistics:
If you sell on Amazon as a company, you should assess whether you want to use your own logistics or Amazon logistics.

From now on we will refer to own logistics as FBM (Fulfillment by Merchant) and Amazon logistics as FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon).

If selling as a company on Amazon you opt for FBM, keep in mind that it will be very difficult for your products to be considered PRIME (later we will talk about how to make your products Prime on Amazon).

In addition, as a pro seller with products in FBM, you will have to face everything related to logistics and customer service, always in the buyer’s local language and meeting Amazon’s shipping times.

On the contrary, if you opt for the FBA option, you will only have to make recurring shipments of your product to Amazon warehouses.

That said, surely you want to know how much Amazon logistics costs as a company in 2020, you should know that there are 3 costs derived from it:

Cost of shipping your product to Amazon warehouses.
Cost of storing your product in Amazon fulfilment centers.
Cost of shipping your product to customers.
Cost of shipping your product to Amazon warehouses.
Sending your products to Amazon warehouses have a variable cost depending on the volume and weight of the shipment. You can do this with your usual transport company, value it with the prices of Amazon’s official suppliers. To find out the cost, you must do an inventory replenishment simulation within your seller central account and request a quote, don’t worry, it’s automatic.
