I want to talk about most people you see with YouTube videos it’s all about like even marketing numbers all three tips five secrets ten you know whatever let’s do to try to is not as attractive not as clicking it whatever but I have two reasons as to why I didn’t get my first sale or things that like helped me get my first sale like you know just a couple things in that process because if you already know the story took me over two months.
I think it was yeah it was a 2 2 and a quarter month two months in one week or so whatever about two months to get my first sale and then a full three months after that to get the second one so almost laughable it’s almost a joke and how funny it was however about a month after I got that second sale.
I started getting consistent and you know not thousands of dollars but a couple of hundred dollars a week worth of sales so starting to build that momentum I kind of figured it out I want to talk about a few points that got me there I don’t want to always be like insanely technical a super in-depth Facebook ad stuff.
Because that’s not where a lot of you guys are at a lot of you at the point where you may be made a few sales but how do you progress past that how do you get the consistency you know go from a few hundred dollars a week make a few thousand dollars a week a few thousand a month whatever your goal is wherever you’re at how do you get to the next level.
This doesn’t just mean going from zero to a hundred thousand a month what is that the next step you have to take in order to get to the next level so the first thing I want to talk about how I was marketing this product if you guys know this story.
I’ve kind of explained it a little bit but inside of those four actually, about five months where I only got those two sales I was doing Facebook ads so Facebook ads I had no experience had never done it ever like had absolutely nothing on I knew a lot about Instagram I was an Instagram influencer in hindsight it’s very obvious to see.
I should have just done Instagram because there’s a lot of money to be made there especially I’m in a year and a half ago just an insane amount of money and I did capitalize on that after but we’ll talk about that here in a second so Facebook for the first solid four that’s the only thing I was doing I think that first sale honestly I hate to admit this but whatever it was more so lucky it just a random sale popped I get super excited scaled the campaign started spending way more money and you know obviously made nothing but anyways.
I had no experience with Facebook ads had no experience no guidance no direction and I wasn’t even watching YouTube videos so I just came in there all cocky like hey let me run a Facebook ad cuz people had almost deterred me from doing instant as you know Facebook’s where the money I cuz they’re making money of Facebook.

- The reports show only sales that were made at a POS location. Other sales are excluded from the reports.
- The retail sales reports are available only if your store is on the Shopify plan or higher and sold in person.
- When you open a retail sales report, the data is up to date, give or take about 1 minute. You can reopen or refresh the report to show newer data.
