The Transactional Law Practice Center at NKU Chase College of Law and the Cincinnati Business Courier has joined together to offer a series of eight workshops entitled “Small Business Essentials.”
Running, managing, and growing your law practice is an evolving process. It requires strategic planning and continuing education to support continued business success.
This new program is designed to assist and educate attorneys and other business leaders on the following aspects of their businesses: marketing, social media and privacy, the art of persuasion, finance, human resources, and branding.
These workshops are beyond the basics. They have been created to hone, recalibrate, and retool your business skills for success in business, including the business of practicing law.

In this interactive workshop, business leaders and attorneys will learn side-by-side how to:
1. Ask effective questions when hiring an attorney (ask effective questions of business clients in the initial client interview)
2. Spot and prevent some of the most common legal issues plaguing small to mid-size businesses
3. Address difficult subjects, such as growth and succession planning
