On today’s Green Road, we’re going to talk about a Car and Automotive Product Reviews 2021 RAV4 Prime.
The introduction of the Rav4 hybrid to the last version of this compact SUV quickly moved this family vehicle to the status as the best-selling compact utility in Canada when both gasoline and hybrid sales were combined.
Fast forward to the all-new Rav4, and 25 percent of those sales have come to a hybrid version. Now things are really going to start to get interesting as Toyota introduces an even more capable rav4, the rav4 prime.
Prime is the name that Toyota uses for its plug-in versions of hybrid models, and the first was the Prius Prime. Now Toyota recently announced that the most powerful performance model in the rav4 family would be its new rav4 prime plug-in hybrid model that’s due to arrive in 2020.

The performance and efficiency of RAV4 Prime are impressive in this compact utility vehicle.

The rav4 prime will have 302 horsepower, the most powerful in its class, a standard all-wheel-drive system, and it’s rated to get an amazing 2.9 liters equivalent per 100K and make the run from zero to a hundred kilometers in approximately six seconds.
Now the pure electric range hasn’t been made official yet but should prove to be best in class.
The rav4 prime will be sold as a 2021 model, and we’ll be seeing it in dealerships in the summer of 2020.
This new Rav4 Prime will keep the Rav4 on top of its game as the best-selling Toyota in Canada for years to come.
